Habitat for Humanity

That’s why, over the last several years, Buchheit has participated in the build of over 50 homes for Habitat for Humanity through volunteer Team Members and as a supplier for tools and materials. We’ve also helped raise money through our retail locations and through silent auctions at the corporate office.

Buchheit has sponsored Habitat for Humanity builds in the Cape Girardeau area by donating all the general construction materials used to build the home. Buchheit believes in a “hand up, not a hand out”. Alongside the donation of supplies, Buchheit also gathered names of customers who were interested in volunteering for a home build.
