Sidney (Sid) Naramore has driven over two million miles as a professional truck driver with zero accidents. Sid has been employed with Buchheit Logistics for 10 years. He is committed to continuous professional development as a driver and has taken multiple courses to improve his skills.

Sid has received multiple safety awards with Buchheit Logistics since he began his employment. Sid is also a regular participant at the Missouri Truck Driving Championships, along with a seven-year term of Driver of the Month with MoTA.

Dewey G. Mullens II

Dewey has spent his 40 years in the industry accident- and violation-free! Dewey has driven over 4.8 million total miles professionally.

Dewey is committed to professional development and has taken numerous courses to better himself as a driver, including cargo securement courses and commercial defensive driving courses in multiple states.

Dewey has earned continuous safe driver awards from 1995-2010 and has been in the Missouri Trucking Association’s Safe Driver’s Club since 2017.

November 2018 – Driver of the Month

Darin Haggett

Years of Professional Driving: 22 years

Darin has driven professionally for over 1.75 million miles. Some of the unique qualities that distinguishes Darin are his commitment to professional development. Darin attends regular online monthly training. He has also attended First Aid, CPR and Hazmat trainings.

Darin has earned the title of Missouri Professional Driver of the Month on three occasions (6/2015, 5/2014, 11/2018). He has also been a Chairman’s Safe Driver Club Member for four years and has won the Buccheit Logistics President’s Safe Driving Award for the last four years.

Darin has a philanthropic spirit. He is an active member of his church and has organized benefits for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

September 2018 – Driver of the Month

Kevin Flick

Hometown: Vienna, IL

Kevin has driven professionally for over 3.5 million miles. Some of the unique qualities that distinguishes Kevin are his passion for safety and his ability to influence new drivers to reach their full potential.

He has been in MoTA Chairman’s Safe Driver Club for eight years, and has been awarded Driver of the Month in April of 2014 and in January of 2017. Kevin is committed to taking care of customers while maintaining a safety focus.

Kevin has served in the USMC from 1981-1985. In his spare time, he likes to assist with his daughter’s Girl Scout troop.

August 2018 – Driver of the Month

Keith Schwent

Hometown: Perryville, MO

Years of Professional Driving: 27 years

Keith has driven professionally over 2.5 million miles. Some of the unique qualities that distinguishes Keith are his commitment to taking care of customers while adhering to high standards of safety. Keith is also a valuable mentor to new drivers as a resource for safety and training.

He has been in MoTA Chairman’s Safe Driver Club for nine years, along with being awarded the Buchheit Logistics Driver of the Year in 2013. Keith is committed to professional development. He is Hazmat certified and takes online safety training through JJ Keller and Infiniti-I.

In his free time, Keith enjoys bowling and has six 300-point, perfect-score games to his name.

Missouri Driver of the Year 2020

Sid Naramore

On Thursday, April 1, 2021, the Missouri Trucking Association (MoTA) held a Safety Awards Luncheon in Jefferson City, Missouri, in lieu of their annual Safety Conference and Awards Banquet. MoTA presented the 2020 driver awards to a crowd of safety professionals. The 2020 Driver of the Year award was presented to Buchheit Logistics end dump driver, Sid Naramore.

Naramore has been a driver for nearly 40 years, driving for Buchheit Logistics for over 12. He has driven over two million miles accident free throughout his career.

The Driver of the Year award is presented to a driver who has been awarded a Driver of the Month award in the same year. Drivers are chosen for their outstanding performance and dedication to safety.

Missouri Driver of the Year 2017

Howard Hall

Congrats to Howard Hall!  Howard received his award at the MoTA annual Safety Conference banquet at Lake of the Ozarks, MO on Thursday, February 15th.  He is the first Buchheit recipient of this very prestigious award. We are so very proud of his achievement, his dedication and hard work.  Thank you Howard!
